Reassuring Foot Health Care for Residents & Confidence for Providers

Can you relate to this?

Inconsistent Foot Health

Standards in Care Homes

Many care homes rely on ad hoc, unregulated foot health practitioners who may not follow consistent clinical, hygiene, or documentation standards — putting residents at risk and care providers out of step with CQC expectations.

Lack of Digital Record

Keeping and Compliance

Traditional foot care providers often operate with paper records or no records at all, leaving care homes with no auditable trail of visits, consent, or treatment plans — risking non-compliance during inspections.

Disruption from Unreliable

or Infrequent Services

Care homes often struggle with unreliable practitioners who cancel at short notice, attend infrequently, or only serve a small number of residents — disrupting continuity of care and leaving residents untreated.

Hidden Costs and

Ambiguous Billing

Care homes are frequently surprised by unclear pricing, unitemised invoices, or unexpected charges from foot care providers — making budgeting and cost recovery unnecessarily complex.

Welcome to WigglyToes®

every step smarter.

A little bit about us

Wiggly Toes is a UK-wide provider of professional foot healthcare services, working in partnership with care homes through contracted, recurring visits. We combine compassionate clinical care with smart technology—ensuring every patient interaction is logged, tracked, and compliant.

Our tech-enabled systems support digital note-taking, consent recording, and secure audit trails, helping care homes stay inspection-ready while delivering consistent, high-quality care to residents.

We exist to improve comfort, mobility, and wellbeing, while supporting care teams with a reliable, transparent service they can trust.

Care & Compliance

We understand the pressures care homes face in maintaining high standards of resident wellbeing and regulatory compliance. That’s why our service is built around clinical consistency, professional standards, and full digital traceability.

Our practitioners follow clear protocols, log every visit in real time, and ensure records are accessible, secure, and inspection-ready. From consent tracking to treatment history, everything is designed to support your CQC requirements, while prioritising the dignity and comfort of your residents.

Technology Enabled

Our service is powered by a secure, cloud-based system that ensures every visit is recorded accurately and efficiently. Practitioners use mobile devices to log notes, capture photos, track consent, and timestamp appointments in real time—eliminating paperwork and reducing admin for your staff.

With built-in audit trails, automated alerts, and central reporting, care homes benefit from full visibility and compliance oversight. Our digital-first approach means fewer errors, faster access to records, and a smarter way to deliver consistent, high-quality foot care at scale.

Peace of mind for all.

Our contracted service model gives care homes peace of mind, while ensuring residents receive consistent, high-quality care backed by smart systems and clinical oversight.

How do I get this service in my care home?

Getting started is easy. Simply contact us to register your interest – we’ll arrange a quick call or visit to:

  • Understand your care home's needs and schedule

  • Discuss how many residents may benefit from regular foot care

  • Confirm key contacts and communication preferences

Agree on a suitable start date for visits

We’ll then assign a local Wiggly Toes Associate to your home and provide all the setup materials, including:

  • Introductory packs for residents and families

  • Consent forms and personal kit order forms

  • Posters, leaflets, and referral materials for your team

From there, we take care of scheduling, compliance, reporting, and invoicing – so you can focus on what matters most: your residents' wellbeing.

How do bookings work?

We offer a simple, flexible booking system. Options include:

  • Regular scheduled visits (e.g. monthly or quarterly rounds)

  • Group bookings to reduce disruption and increase efficiency

  • Emergency call-outs where required

We’ll work with your administrator or care coordinator to create a visiting schedule that suits your residents’ needs.

What happens on the day of the visit?

On arrival, the practitioner will:

  • Sign in and complete safeguarding checks

Why is foot care so important, especially for people with diabetes?

Because untreated foot issues can lead to mobility problems, infections, ulcers, or even amputations. Daily checks and professional care help catch issues early and protect health

Yes – for hygiene and infection control, each resident receives a Personal Foot Care Kit during their first visit. This kit includes:

  • Nail file

  • Emery board

  • Nail separators

  • Clippers

  • Consent folder

These are single-patient use and are stored safely at your home between visits.

Are you CQC registered?

While we are not required to be CQC registered as we are not providing regulated activities, we ensure:

  • All work is documented and accountable

  • All practitioners follow strict hygiene and consent processes

  • We integrate seamlessly into your care and safeguarding protocols

  • We work in full cooperation with your nursing and clinical teams.

Can we recommend your service to families?

Yes please – and thank you! We’re on a mission to become the largest foot health provider in the UK, and your word-of-mouth support makes all the difference.

We actively encourage and welcome referrals. To make it easy for you:

  • We’ll provide leaflets, posters, and brochures you can display in your reception or send home with families

  • We can supply email templates and newsletter content tailored to your home’s tone and residents’ needs

  • We’re happy to support with information sessions or Q&A events for families, in person or online

If families trust your care home, they’re more likely to trust who you recommend – and we take that trust seriously.

Together, we can keep residents healthier, happier, and on their feet.
